Functional Consultants

Your company must have (developed: 15, developing: 5) individuals meet the following combination of certifications and exams. (Maximum PCI score: 15)

Customer Engagement Functional Consultant certification requires an individual to pass.
- Exam MB-200: Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365* OR Exam PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
AND
One of the following exams:
- Exam MB-210: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales
- Exam MB-220: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing
- Exam MB-230: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Service
- Exam MB-240: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Field Service
- Exam MB6-898: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent**

Note:

Exams marked with a single asterisk (*) retired on December 31, 2020. Exams retired on December 31, 2020 will remain eligible for competency attainment and renewal until December 31, 2021, if taken before they are retired.

Exams marked with two asterisks (**) retired on January 31, 2021. Exams retiring on January 31, 2021 will remain eligible for competency attainment and renewal until January 31, 2022, if taken before they are retired.

Functional Consultants Growth

Your company must have met the functional consultants’ growth through one of the following options: (Maximum PCI score: 15)
Functional consultant growth is defined as the growth in number of certified Functional Consultant Associates since a baseline snapshot. Baseline snapshot date will be taken October 1, 2020.
Option 1:

(Developed: 50, Developing: 25) or more functional consultants.If you reach this threshold, you will receive the full 15 points for Functional Consultant Growth for 24 months from that date.

OR
Option 2

Developed: 15-29, Developing: 5-14 baseline consultants need 35% growth.
Developed: 30-49, Developing: 15-24 baseline consultants need 25% growth.

Functional consultant growth indicator points are based on the current month snapshot compared to the baseline snapshot. Partners can achieve 0 OR 15 points with this indicator.

The baseline snapshot will be subsequently reset on the next Cloud Business Applications competency renewal date.

To be eligible for points, you must have a minimum of 15 Functional Consultant Associates for Developed market partners and 5 for Developing market partners when the baseline snapshot is taken

Developers

Your company must have (developed: 5, developing: 2) individuals meet the following combination of certifications and exams. (Maximum PCI score: 5)

Exam PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
OR

Exam MB-200: Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365* AND One of the following exams:

Exam MB2-716: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customization and Configuration**

Exam MB-400: Microsoft Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer*

Note:

Exams marked with two asterisks (**) retired on January 31, 2021. Exams retiring on January 31, 2021 will remain eligible for competency attainment and renewal until January 31, 2022, if taken before they are retired.

Net new revenue

Your company should have (developed: USD300,000 , developing: USD150,000) net new revenue in the trailing twelve months. (Maximum PCI score: 10)Net new revenue is calculated based on the following, qualifying products:

Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Marketing, Microsoft Relationship Sales, Plan 1, Talent, and Enterprise Team Member.

To count towards competency attainment, partners should be associated through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), the Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), or Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) for a paid subscription belonging to the customer's tenant.

Net new customer adds

Your company should have (developed: 10, developing: 5) net new customers in the trailing twelve months. (Maximum PCI score: 10)
Qualifying products: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Marketing, Microsoft Relationship Sales, Plan 1, Talent, and Enterprise Team Member.

A customer add is defined under these conditions: When a customer has no paid seats across all their subscriptions in a prior month but has at least one paid seat in the current month.

A customer lost is defined under these conditions: When a customer has at least one paid seat across all their subscriptions in a prior month and does not have any paid seats in the current month.

To count towards competency attainment, partners should be associated through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), the Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), or Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) for a paid subscription belonging to the customer's tenant.

New large deployments

Your company should have (developed: 5, developing: 1) new large deployments (production tenants) in the trailing twelve months. (Maximum PCI score: 20)

New large deployments are defined as the number of production instances under a tenant that have crossed (developed: 250, developing: 150) monthly active users.

Qualifying products: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Marketing, Microsoft Relationship Sales, Plan 1, Talent, and Enterprise Team Member.

A tenant is considered to have crossed the monthly active user threshold if it had less than specified threshold active users 12 months ago and crossed that threshold active users at least once over the subsequent 11 months.

Monthly active users are counted at the tenant level and summed up across only the paid subscriptions under the tenant.

To count towards competency attainment, partners should be associated through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), the Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), or Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) for a paid subscription belonging to the customer's tenant.

Growing Monthly Active Users (MAU)

Your company should have at least 25% MAU growth in the trailing twelve months. (Maximum PCI score: 25)

Qualifying products: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Marketing, Microsoft Relationship Sales, Plan 1, Talent, and Enterprise Team Member.

Partners must have a baseline of at least (developed: 250, developing: 150) monthly active users across their entire customer base 12 months ago to be eligible for points.

To count towards competency attainment, partners should be associated through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), the Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), or Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) for a paid subscription belonging to the customer's tenant.
